We wanted to create the kind of place we’d want as our local. Somewhere welcoming, with delicious food, good drinks and warm, genuine hospitality.
A place you’ll come back to again and again. Pop in for a quick beer, settle in for a great meal and a bottle of wine with friends, or celebrate something special. We’re here for all of it.
The food takes its cues from both sides of the Channel. French bistro cooking meets the best bits of the British gastropub, done our own way.
Music matters here too. If you listen closely, you'll hear plenty of late 1980s and 1990s CD compilations. And, yes, there's an Acid House playlist in the washrooms.
No gimmicks. No brand story, we’re just doing our own thing and we hope you’ll join us.

We’re kind of famous for our Sunday Roasts, but we’ve got you covered all week. Tuesday to Thursday, our $55 Prix Fixe is the vibe, with an optional thoughtfully curated wine pairing. Fridays and Saturdays are made for dinner at HUX. Settle in over great food, a bottle of wine and a room that feels just right when it’s full. And for those who linger, there’s even a secret late-night menu until 2am. Whatever the day, consider HUX your local.

Ease into the evening with good wine, cocktails and a few plates to share. Happy Hour menu is available from 3-6pm and includes $10 classic cocktails and $6 draught beer.
Prix Fixe
PRIX FIXE Tuesday to Thursday nights, enjoy our 3-course $55 prix fixe menu with an optional $25 wine pairing. Our full menu is available, simply choose a starter and main, and dessert is included. Please note, a small number of dishes carry a supplement.
Good food, good wine, no overthinking it. For just $55 per person.
